Second Early Dunbar Rover potato details
Dunbar Rover -  Dundry Nurseries & Garden Centre An old variety that looks rough and tastes wonderful. bred in 1936 by Charles T Spence of Tynefield Farm, Dunbar and it is rare.
Rover's are oval shape with white skin, snowy white flesh and medium deep eyes.
The cooking and taste qualities are excellent. The flesh is floury, and they have a pleasant sweet flavour. They make great roasting, baking and mash potato dishes.

It has good all round cooking qualities, definitley one for the connoisser
